❗️The EU has announced plans to impose sanctions due to the elections in the new Russian regions, according to a press release from the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
The European Union refuses to recognize the elections in these regions and their results. Brussels is threatening sanctions against "individuals involved in the organization" of the elections, as well as "those who put forward their candidacies."
