❗️Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered a combat readiness inspection of the country’s armed forces, with one brigade leaving its permanent base to conduct unspecified tasks.
Belarus’ Security Council says the exercise will assess military readiness while incorporating lessons from the wars in Ukraine and Iran, with a particular focus on the use of firepower.
Security Council Secretary Alexander Volfovich urged the public not to interpret the drills as a sign that “something extraordinary” is about to happen.
