🚨 RECORD 14-YEAR SENTENCE OVER $50M CRYPTO MONEY-LAUNDERING SCHEME

Shabtay Yaacoby, 56, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for laundering more than $50 million in scam proceeds through businesses including crypto exchange Blue Star Exchange.

Investigators traced around $40 million in crypto to overseas scammers, while Yaacoby was found to have communicated with scammers through Telegram.

It is the longest money-laundering sentence ever handed down in Australia.
