Australian crypto trader Michael Sloggett, 43, has been sentenced to 2 years and 9 months in prison after pleading guilty to dealing with money he had reasonable grounds to suspect was proceeds of crime.

His operation handled $2.6 million across 156 transactions, letting customers buy crypto without normal identity checks or transaction records.
