⚠️ UPDATE: 92% OF APPROVED GRANT MONEY HAS GONE TO LABOR SEATS
Earlier analysis found 73.2% of $559.2 million in allocations under Labor’s community infrastructure grants program went to Labor-held electorates.
Now, of the $248 million in projects actually approved since March, 92% has gone to Labor-held seats.
A Senate inquiry has now been launched into how projects were selected, with Labor voting against establishing the inquiry. The government maintains the program was properly administered.
