⚠️ SYDNEY HOUSING DOWNTURN HITS NSW REVENUE
NSW residential stamp-duty revenue fell 24% year-on-year in August, as property sales dropped 18%.
Sydney home values are now more than 7% below their peak, while the NSW government expects to collect around $5.3 billion less in stamp duty over the next four years as the housing slowdown continues.
