🚨 WOMAN JAILED 7½ YEARS OVER $2.2M NDIS FRAUD

Ebtesam Fahmy, 57, who lives in Sydney, has been sentenced to 7½ years in prison after more than 1,000 false NDIS claims worth around $2.2 million.

Court reporting says Fahmy appeared in a hijab and used an Arabic interpreter during proceedings.

She will serve at least four years before parole eligibility, in what has been reported as the toughest NDIS fraud sentence to date.
