🚨 PAULINE HANSON TAKES SECTION 18C FREE SPEECH FIGHT TO HIGH COURT

Pauline Hanson has formally asked the High Court to hear her challenge to Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act after losing her appeal over a 2022 tweet telling Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi to “piss off back to Pakistan”.

Hanson argues Australians should not be dragged through the courts for political speech simply because it may “offend, insult, humiliate or intimidate” someone based on race or ethnicity.

If the High Court agrees to hear the case, it could become one of the biggest tests of free speech under Australia’s racial discrimination laws in years.
