⚠️ NSW’S SECRET ROADSIDE DRUG TEST LIMIT EXPOSED

NSW Roads Minister Jenny Aitchison has revealed police told her roadside cannabis tests are set at 50 ng/mL of THC in saliva, a figure NSW Police have previously refused to make public.

But Transport for NSW says the lab threshold used to prosecute drivers is just 10 ng/mL, five times lower. Officials also admitted the roadside device can detect THC below 50 ng/mL, raising questions over what level actually triggers a positive test.

Police Minister Yasmin Catley is due to face Budget Estimates on Friday, where she is expected to be questioned over the conflicting figures.
