🚨 SEVEN CHARGED OVER $80M ILLICIT TOBACCO AND VAPE NETWORK

Seven people have been charged after police allegedly uncovered criminal networks using “trusted insiders” and legitimate freight businesses to bypass border controls and import illicit tobacco and vapes into Australia.

Raids across NSW, Queensland and Victoria seized drugs, firearms, cash, gold and luxury goods, while more than $25 million in assets including 14 properties has been frozen. Police also allege the operation was responsible for dozens of illicit tobacco shipments entering Australia by air cargo.
