🚨 AUSTRALIAN RENTS HIT RECORD $705 A WEEK

Australia’s national median rent has climbed to a record $705 a week, with renters now spending roughly a third of household income just to keep a roof over their heads.

The surge comes after years of population growth outpacing new housing supply, with net overseas migration remaining well above historical levels. Rental listings are also around 17% below the five-year average, leaving too many people competing for too few homes.
