📌CLMM solved the capital efficiency problem. But created a management problem.

Concentrated Liquidity has been one of the biggest breakthroughs in DeFi.
It made capital significantly more efficient. Instead of spreading liquidity across the entire price curve, LPs can now concentrate their capital where most trading actually happens. Returns increased.
But so did complexity.

Today, a successful LP has to constantly answer dozens of questions:
🔘Where should my liquidity range be right now?
🔘When should I reposition it?
🔘How wide should the range be?
🔘Should I widen the range during periods of higher volatility?
🔘At what point do trading fees no longer compensate for the risk?

This creates an interesting paradox.

CLMM made capital more efficient, but it also made LPs far less passive.
Providing liquidity is increasingly becoming a full-fledged trading strategy.
And the more capital efficiency improves, the higher the cost of making the wrong decision.
Which naturally raises the question:

If liquidity management requires constant decision-making, should humans still be making those decisions manually?
