Q1. Do I need to hold USD1?
Yes, in both account modes and for both pools.

Q2. What happens if I fail the USD1 requirement at one snapshot?
Only that snapshot is affected. OI recorded at that snapshot will not earn points, and taker trades checked at that snapshot will not count. Points from other eligible snapshots are unaffected.

Q3. What if I switch account modes?
The system checks which account mode you are using at each snapshot. For OI Points, eligible snapshots in Single-Asset Mode earn 2×; Multi-Asset Mode earns 1×.

Epochs run Monday 00:00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59 UTC. The first epoch starts Aug 31, and the final one ends when Phase 1 closes on Dec 31, 23:59:59 UTC.

For each pool:
Your reward = Epoch reward pool × (Your points ÷ Total eligible points)

The USD1 and $WLFI pools are calculated independently.

Rewards for each epoch are distributed the following week. Unclaimed rewards expire two weeks after becoming available for claim.

USD1 RWA Campaign: First Phase Campaign Announcement

The first phase will run until December 31, 2026, with the launch time to be announced separately.

For the first phase:
🔹 125M $WLFI allocated based on eligible Open Interest (OI)
🔹 6.25M USD1 allocated based on eligible trading volume
The two reward pools are calculated independently, allowing eligible activity to qualify for both.

2X OI Boost with Single-Asset Mode

▪️ Single-Asset Mode: In Single-Asset Mode, USD1-denominated RWA positions using only USD1 as collateral will receive a 2X boost toward OI-based rewards.

▪️ Multi-Asset Mode: In Multi-Asset Mode, Aster will take regular snapshots of users’ collateral composition. Activity will only qualify for rewards if USD1 represents more than 50% of the user’s total collateral on average during the relevant snapshot period.

This is the first phase of the USD1 RWA Markets, more initiatives and campaigns to come as USD1-denominated markets expand through AOS.
