Instead of streets, Lumensia features tiered corridors placed in vertical alignment. Residents navigate using “Energy Cores”—personal anti-gravity devices that generate localized levitation fields. Some prefer a graceful glide, while others make bold leaps between platforms.

For centuries, the plants covering Elpharion observed the beings that walked upon them. They absorbed information, mimicked movements, and tried to become like those who dwelled on their surface. Natural evolution was slow, but at some point, those who ruled this realm decided to accelerate it.

The greatest minds of a bygone era began experiments to grant plants true intelligence, fusing them with technology. Their goal was clear: to create immortal guardians—beings that could live for millennia, preserve knowledge, and safeguard Elpharion’s equilibrium.

Each of these new life forms—Zi’karis—is born as a seedling, yet it immediately grows inside an exoskeletal suit, which becomes its permanent shell. The ancients’ technology enabled these plant-creatures not merely to move; they acquired independent thought and free will.

Instead of blood, pure energy flows through their veins, and each joint of their advanced armor is fitted with energy crystals that synthesize power directly from the wearer. Amid the merciless deserts of Shardana dwell the Shardanians—a race shaped by scalding daylight and ever-present sandstorms. Their bodies are covered with sturdy scales or chitinous plating, shielding them from the scorching heat by day and the freezing cold by night. They possess keen eyesight, acute hearing, and the ability to sense vibrations through the sand, giving them a vital edge in spotting distant threats or locating hidden water sources.

However, the Shardanians are not a single, unified creatures. Their culture is divided into various castes and clans. Nomadic hunters wander across the dunes, collecting water from the few scattered oases and hunting desert predators for sustenance. Canyon wardens lead more settled lives in the deep ravines, where they build fortified shelters to protect against the deadly force of sandstorms. Meanwhile, desert crafters—a rare group of engineers and artisans—keep fragments of knowledge from Shardana’s long-lost civilization, fashioning ingenious gear and salvaged technology from relics of the past.

In everyday life, Shardanians revere the “spirits of the sands,” believing the raging winds to be manifestations of the planet’s own will. They hold that only those who earn Shardana’s respect can discover hidden water veins beneath the dunes and avoid perishing in the ever-shifting sands. A major cultural milestone is the Rite of Passage: a young Shardanian must cross a treacherous canyon alone, and only by returning unscathed do they earn the right to bear a special horned crest or helm.

Although Shardanians rarely engage with the rest of Arteria, they are aware of Ferronis refugees and traders from Zigguria who occasionally appear at their oases. Those who manage to gain the desert dwellers’ trust may acquire rare minerals or artifacts left behind in ancient ruins. Many Shardanians believe they will one day unearth the secrets of their ancestors and restore Shardana to its former glory.

Such are the Shardanians—a creatures whose unyielding spirit has been tempered by relentless sandstorms, whose culture is built on perseverance and honor, and who endure in harmony with an unforgiving land where others see only a hopeless waste.

Version 2.1.0 introduces two major features: a new equipment enhancement system using Cybroxides and a revamped weapon skin system with updated sword models and dynamic animations.

New Equipment Enhancement System

Enhance your gear using special Cybroxides:
• Neoxite: Increases enhancement level by +1.
• Metacite: Increases enhancement level randomly from +1 to +3.
• Luxion: Increases enhancement level by +1 and guarantees item protection from destruction.
• Quantarite: Decreases enhancement level by -1.

Cybroxides can be found in-game or purchased in the shop. Experiment with enhancements to customize your gear for your playstyle.

Revamped Weapon Skin System
• New sword models: More detailed and modern designs, making each weapon unique.
• Dynamic attack animations: Smoother and more realistic movements, enhancing battle immersion.

Long ago, a mysterious civilization once thrived on Shardana. Its remains now lie buried beneath countless layers of sand. According to legend, a network of underground temples houses crystal generators capable of drawing energy directly from Arteria itself. Yet relentless sandstorms and the planet’s unforgiving climate have rendered all attempts to unearth these relics futile.

Despite its seemingly lifeless expanse, Shardana is home to unusual creatures. Sand Creepers —insectoid predators—lurk beneath the surface, waiting for unsuspecting prey. Desert Nomads wander from one oasis to another, extracting precious water from scarce sources, while Ferronis refugees have recently made their way here in search of refuge from the technogenic horrors of their home.

Located in a remote sector of the Arteria universe, Shardana seldom sees visits from interstellar merchants. Many believe the planet’s very nature is its best defense against unwelcome guests. Ancient tales speak of the “Tower of Silence,” hidden within the largest oasis. Rumor has it that this tower might either grant Shardana a second chance at life or doom it forever. Yet no adventurer who ventured into the heart of this desert has ever returned to share the truth.

Kairos-9 — The Crimson Rock Planet

Lost in the merciless expanse of Arteria, Kairos-9 is a world that defies the very notion of life. Its surface is a vast wasteland of deep crimson dust, jagged rock formations, and bottomless fissures exhaling toxic vapors. The planet’s gravity is 30% higher than standard, making every step heavier and every breath a struggle without specialized equipment.

Kairos-9 orbits on the far edge of Arteria’s known space, positioned between Ferronis and Xantara, yet significantly more distant than most settled worlds. Looming in its sky is the massive gas giant Ru’Morax, whose gravitational pull distorts the planet’s already volatile atmosphere, triggering sudden storms and powerful electromagnetic surges. These energy bursts create spatial anomalies known as the “Kairos Rifts,” where reality itself seems to warp and fracture.
