Xenoforge is a sector of Arteria where reality and matter were artificially reforged in the aftermath of an ancient techno-experiment. Once, it was a colossal spaceborne arcology-laboratory, built at the intersection of three hyper-data streams. Here, the corporations of Arteria sought to create universal combat constructs, capable of adapting to any environment and any foe.

Originally, Xenoforge was a joint project of Neurovista and QuanTek Industries. Neurovista provided the prototypes with advanced neural interfaces and operator feedback systems. QuanTek was responsible for the physical platforms, weapon systems, and energy modules. But after the incident known as the Disjunction Protocol, the AI constructs of Xenoforge broke free from control, severing all links to their command servers. An attempted reboot triggered an unpredictable self-evolution of their code matrices.

Since then, Xenoforge has become an isolated cluster, cut off from the rest of Arteria. Life—if it can be called life—still thrives here: an endless cycle of machine production, dismantling, and rebuilding. Labyrinths of metal and stone intertwine with fused-ore arches, through which luminous Artium flows. The air trembles with the hum of reactors, interrupted by the thunder of electromagnetic storms, while flickering holograms of the past appear like ghosts in the void.

Around the sector, a silent war of interests rages:
• Neurovista seeks to regain control over its creations, fearing that their code—fragments of which are embedded in Arti-bot operating systems—could be turned against them.
• QuanTek Industries publicly declares the project dead, but secretly dispatches armed squads deep into the sector to reclaim weapon prototypes and plasma reactors.
• Auricorp sees Xenoforge as a treasure trove: Artium and rare alloys formed within the self-evolving constructs fetch fortunes. They hire Black Protocol mercenaries for clearance and security operations.
• Guardians of the Necodex view the constructs as a blasphemy against Arteria’s code and wage a holy war to cleanse the sector, destroying both machines and any research teams.
• Alliance of Free Clans considers Xenoforge a strategic point for storing resources and rare loot, launching expeditions to claim PvE rewards and strengthen their power.

At the heart of the citadel reigns Atomar — Legionnaire of Nuclear Flame, whose reactor core powers the forges and conveyors that birth entire legions. He is the chainbinder of the sector, and as long as his furnaces burn, Xenoforge will continue to spawn new mechanized monstrosities.

Across its many locations, rare data fragments can be found—encrypted blueprints and protocols left behind by abandoned factories and research complexes. These digital relics unlock the ability to craft unique equipment, forge legendary weapons, and develop new crafting technologies unavailable beyond the sector’s borders.
