🎮 There’s No Such Thing as a Free Video Game
“Free-to-play” doesn’t always mean free.
Many video games are designed to make money by keeping you engaged for as long as possible. They use limited-time events, rewards, countdowns and in-game purchases to turn your time and attention into profit.
For example, you might wait 8 hours for an upgrade—or pay to get it instantly. A special item might only be available for a few days, creating a fear of missing out.
The game may be free to download, but you could still be paying with your time, attention, and money. 💸
So next time you see a “FREE” game, ask yourself:
“If I’m not paying with money, what am I paying with?” 👀
