Peak intensity: CSTO active phase of Unbreakable Brotherhood 2026 and Barrier 2026 exercises

📍 The final stages of the command post exercise with the Unbreakable Brotherhood 2026 CSTO Peacekeeping Forces and the Barrier 2026 special exercise with joint formation of NBC protection troops and medical support of the CSTO were held at the Losvido and Starodorozhskiy training grounds in the Republic of Belarus.

▫️ Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov took part in the drill.

▫️ Units conducted a peacekeeping operation during the manoeuvres on the territory of the CSTO member State. The servicemen supported the ceasefire and ensured the terms of the truce.

Formations of the CSTO Collective Forces of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the exercises. More than 1,500 servicemen and more than 300 units of weapons, military and support hardware were deployed including about 80 different types of UAVs.
