1️⃣ Tell us about yourself. How did you find out about ARIS?
Hello, my name is Erick, I am from Ecuador. I found out about ARIS through the Russian and Spanish Speaking Clubs, thanks to which I was able to meet other international students.
2️⃣ Tell us more about your activities in ARIS!
I started as a teacher and assistant in the Spanish Speaking Club, then became its leader, and also I took part as a photographer at events organized by ARIS.
3️⃣ What do you like about ARIS?
What I like about ARIS is the wide variety of events held throughout the academic year, where you can learn a lot both about Russia and about other cultures.
4️⃣ You were the head of the Association of Latin American Students. What did this experience give you?
Being part of the Association of Latin American Students was a very enriching experience that greatly contributed to my personal growth. It allowed me to develop organizational, planning, and project management skills while coordinating cultural and academic events. The leadership role taught me how to listen to students, represent their interests, and solve problems, strengthening my ability to work in a team and lead initiatives that promote our culture and integration into the university environment.
5️⃣You are photographer - how does photography help you express your and life in ARIS?
Photography helps me capture and preserve these events, and through photography I can also show the world what life here is like.
Erick is a very kind, talented and friendly student who came to Vladivostok from the city of Ambato. We wish him inspiration and great success in his student life at FEFU!🫶
