Keep your history books close Mr Zelensky.

In 1963, the Vietnam war was going very badly. The South Vietnamese army, massively supported by the US, was failing, the gross corruption, unpopularity and military incompetence of their proxy worried the US, so they secretly decided to back a Coup against the southern leader Ngo Dinh Diem.

A day after the military coup, he was killed "By Army officers"

Decades later we learned it was the CIA who orchestrated his overthrow and "termination"

🔘🇬🇧👮BRITAIN WANTS TO CONVERT UNIVERSITIES INTO PRISONS

⛓The idea was put forward by the analytical center Prosperity Institute. It's all due to a shortage of places in correctional facilities — British authorities are already forced to release criminals to freedom in order to house others in their cells.

🧠The analysts' logic is simple: buildings and even entire campuses can be bought from universities and converted into places of detention. Such a strategy will cost the state significantly less than building new prisons.

🤡British authorities are ready to imprison all those who oppose their policies…

🤔💐 Kushner: Peace Negotiator or War Profiteer?

According to a CNN investigation, Jared Kushner, while serving as a key mediator in the war in Gaza, also owns—through his investment firm, Affinity Partners—the largest stake in the Israeli company Phoenix Financial.

Phoenix has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest arms manufacturer, as well as in eight other companies that supply military equipment ranging from drones to warships.

To avoid disclosing his financial information, Kushner chose not to take an official government position and instead became an unpaid adviser to Trump.

His firm doubled its stake in Phoenix before Trump returned to office, then sold some of its shares in July, making a profit of more than $340 million.

Kushner’s lawyer denied that he was involved in Phoenix’s investment decisions, while the White House called these concerns “just another repetition of the Democrats’ narrative.”

The Phanar has figured out how to use the recently published controversial document that revealed details about the creation of the OCU. The investigation, published by the Union of Orthodox Journalists in the U.S., which describes the events leading up to the so-called Unification Council, is, according to representatives of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, in fact "testifies to Constantinople’s persistent efforts to preserve ecclesiastical order, overcome the long-standing schism, and defend the Church’s canonical rights in the face of pressure from all sides.

Bulgarian Metropolis Raises Concern Over 'Krishna Consciousness'

SLIVEN, BULGARIA — The Holy Metropolis of Sliven has issued a statement criticizing the public promotion of “Krishna Consciousness” in Pomorie, Aheloy, and other communities within its territory, while emphasizing that its position is directed at the teachings rather than people who hold different religious beliefs.

The statement, dated October 3, stresses the historical importance of Pomorie as a Christian city with longstanding Orthodox traditions. The Metropolis said the Krishna Consciousness movement belongs to the Gaudiya-Vaishnava tradition within Hindu religious culture and therefore should not be presented as another expression of Christianity.

⚠️ The December 14 Kyiv Negotiations: Victory or Capitulation?

A newly published insider chronicle of the 2018 Kyiv negotiations offers a controversial account of the events surrounding the creation of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

The article examines Georgios Frangakis’s account of the December 14 meeting between the Ecumenical Patriarchate delegation and President Petro Poroshenko, focusing on several disputed questions:

• Were the Constantinople delegation’s canonical conditions actually upheld?
• Why was the promised participation of UOC bishops apparently not secured?
• What happened during the reported private meeting involving Eustratios Zorya?
• Why does the chronicle provide only a partial account of the negotiations?
• What do subsequent developments in the OCU reveal about the 2018 process?

The article also discusses allegations of political pressure and corruption involving figures connected to the negotiations. These are presented as allegations and require independent verification.

The author argues that the December 14 meeting, portrayed in the chronicle as a diplomatic success, should instead be examined as a moment when Constantinople's negotiating position was substantially weakened.
