A small arbitrage case from one of our clients, who recently bought a subscription and has already come out with a solid profit.

SKR is the Seeker token by Solana Mobile. It's new — launched in January via airdrop, and has mostly been falling ever since, as people who got the coins for free gradually sell them off. Volatility is high, liquidity is patchy, so spot and futures prices across different exchanges often drift apart. Exactly what you need for arbitrage.

Bitget, long 4x: minus 3,366 USDT
Bybit, short: plus 4,531 USDT

The price went down. Because of that the long on Bitget went into the red, while the short on Bybit earned — and earned more than the long lost. The net result on the balance is a plus.

In delta-neutral arbitrage one position can be in the red and the other in the green, while you take the profit on the difference. The point is that you don't need to guess which way the price will go. Both sides are opened at once, and the setup works regardless of market direction.

I randomly notice that yet another token in my portfolio (and I've got plenty of different ones) is ripping x25 from the very bottom — from 10 cents to $2.5. At around x2 from my entry I start selling, at $1.1.

I'm talking about LSK. Just in case, I drop it into my own analysis service — like, why the sharp spike? (I've got more than enough parameters for that) — and I see the news coming out: the network is being shut down, nothing but negativity, no growth narrative at all. Plain manipulation.

And what does everyone teach you? The asset's a scam, the news is bad, so you can safely short it. Makes sense, right? In general — yeah. And that's exactly the moment they paint the candle the other way and shave off the smartest "analysts" — which is precisely why we saw this pump.

The market has changed. These days you have to keep a lot of factors in mind. There was a loud statement that the token is being scammed, the flies swarmed in, and the result — a liquidity grab. And right now it's unclear whether they'll shave off the last of the liquidity or not.

I've had this token in my portfolio for a long time — I even arbitraged it and held it in staking, accumulated a fair amount. Held it for better times.

💡 Now — how to actually earn on this if you believe in the token and already hold it.

Look at the numbers: on Binance spot it's ~0.9955, on HTX the perp is ~0.9033 — a spread of about 9%. On top of that, HTX funding is negative (−1.11%), meaning you get paid for going long.

The setup (an example, not financial advice):
1️⃣ You already hold the token on spot
2️⃣ Open a long with 1x leverage, isolated, on HTX
3️⃣ Collect funding while you hold — it pays out every 8 hours
4️⃣ When the perp and spot prices converge — you also capture the convergence (currently ~9%)
5️⃣ Close the long

The result: funding accrued, you earned on the convergence, the token stays in your portfolio, and a share of capital lands on your balance on top. The wider the spread and the longer the funding holds, the bigger the payout.

That's your payback and free tokens for the long term. That's how I've kept quite a few assets in my portfolio over my 9 years in the market.

📈 The market is waking up — and you can see it in the trades

🔵 Bought BTW on spot (OKX)
🔵 Hedged with a short on Binance Futures
🔵 Entered when prices on both venues were equal — the entry spread was just 0.04%

Then the coin pumped, and the DEX spot price ran ~5% above the futures. That gap is exactly what the client captured — plus funding on top.
