I'm a musician as well, and using anything other than equal temperament is rough. It takes a few more brain cells but if you wanna share the same resonant frequencies as the cathedrals, A432 and Just Intonation is the answer. But good luck getting a setup for those requirements, that being instruments that can actually be tuned to A432 and Just Intonation.

For almost 100 years, A440 and Equal Temperament have been engrained so hard into our brains that virtually no one uses anything differently. The current standard is so dominant over every other standard, It's almost as if the old standard was changed by force.
