In Matthew 23:14, the NIV removes Jesus' warning about the Pharisees that was spoken to the multitude and Jesus' disciples.

[13] But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

By taking out Matthew 23:14, the NIV:
πŸ’₯Removes Jesus exposing the Pharisees and scribes as being hyprocrites
πŸ’₯Takes out the Pharisees and scribes' actions, which were their long prayers and them sadly devouring widows' houses.
πŸ’₯And deletes Jesus' judgment on the wicked Pharisees and scribes & that Jesus said that the Pharisees and scribes shall recieve the greater damnation".

The NIV is a wicked and corrupt modern version.

Discard and avoid the NIV, and get, read, and believe the words of the KJB.
