In Luke 23:42, NASB2020/NASB1995/ASV/LSB remove the word "Lord" out of the dying thief's words on the cross next to Jesus (Luke 23:39-42)
Luke 23:42 KJB
And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.β
π―π
Luke 23:42 NASB2020
And he was saying, βJesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!ββ
Luke 23:42 NASB1995
And he was saying, βJesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!ββ
Luke 23:42 ASV
And he said, Jesus, remember me when thou comest in thy kingdom.β
Luke 23:42 LSB
And he was saying, βJesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!ββ
By taking out "Lord" from Luke 23:42, NASB2020/ NASB1995/ASV/LSB make the dying thief go to Heaven without calling on/believing on the Lord Jesus & goes against Acts 16:31 & Romans 10:13 on how to be saved.
Acts 16:31 KJB
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Romans 10:13 KJB
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
