11. Pray+ask God for understanding+discernment+wisdom before you read Scripture
📖1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Reioyce euermore:
Pray without ceasing:
In euery thing giue thankes: for this is the will of God in Christ Iesus concerning you.
📖James 1:5
If any of you lacke wisedome, let him aske of God, that giueth to all men liberally, and vpbraideth not: and it shalbe giuen him.
📖Ephesians 6:18
Praying alwayes with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseuerance, and supplication for all Saints,

✍12. Believe God both INSPIRED his words, & PRESERVED his words forever.
As saved people, we're able to read+believe+learn+teach from+live by God's preserved, inspired, perfect, translated words
📖Deuteronomy 4:2; 8:3
Ye shall not adde vnto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish ought from it, that ye may keepe the Commaundements of the LORD your God, which I command you.
And he humbled thee, and suffred thee to hunger, and fed thee with Manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know: that he might make thee know, that man doth not liue by bread onely, but by euery word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man liue.
📖Psalms 12:6-7; 100:5; 119:160
The wordes of the LORD are pure wordes: as siluer tried in a fornace of earth purified seuen times.
Thou shalt keepe them, (O LORD,) thou shalt preserue them, from this generation for euer.
For the LORD is good, his mercy is euerlasting: and his trueth endureth to all generations.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and euery one of thy righteous iudgements endureth for euer.

Heauen and earth shall passe away, but my wordes shall not passe away.

To Titus mine owne Sonne after the common faith, Grace, mercie, and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Iesus Christ our Sauiour.
Holding fast the faithfull word, as hee hath beene taught, that he may bee able by sound doctrine, both to exhort and to conuince the gainsayers.
📖2 Timothy 3:16-17;4:2
All Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, & is profitable for doctrine, for reproofe, for correction, for instrution in righteousnesse,
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished vnto all good workes.
Preach the word, be instant in season, out of season, reprooue, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering & doctrine.
📖1 Peter 1:23, 25
Being borne againe, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liueth and abideth for euer.
But the word of the Lord endureth for euer: & this is the word which by the Gospel is preached vnto you.
