Erasmus defended 1 John 5:7 in his 1522 GreekNewTestamentEdition. He stated Codex ("Codice Britannico"/"Anglos Graecus codex") had 1 John 5:7's Greek words in it +suspected[believed] Greek CodexBritannico was correct
