In 2 Corinthians 7:10, KJ21 moves "not to be repented of" from being in front of the word "salvation" to after the word "godly sorrow". This word positioning change creates a very subtil, huge doctrinal difference between KJB & KJ21:
2 Corinthians 7:10 1611 KJB
For godly forrow worketh repentance to falvation not to be repented of, but the forrow of the world worketh death. β
π―π
KJ21
For godly sorrow is not to be repented of, but worketh repentance to salvation; but the sorrow of the world worketh death.βπ°π±
KJ21:
π₯Attacks eternal security of a saved person. When+after changing his mind to believe on Jesus, he cannot AGAIN undo/rechange their mind on his salvation+ thus cannot lose his salvation. KJ21 attacks this doctrine by moving the words "salvation not to be repented of" to after the words "godly sorrow"
π₯Creates a KJ21 error, making an incomplete independent sentence clause without a subject by adding a comma
π₯Goes against KJB
π₯Ironically contradicts KJ21's title of "21st Century King James Version"
