Since the Scofield Reference "Bible" denies Acts 8:37 is Scripture, the Scofield Bible:
💥Subtily promotes infant baptism and baptism of anyone to be saved by denying the authenticity of the same verse (Acts 8:37) that actually shows a people needs to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation BEFORE that person can optionally choose to be baptized.
💥Goes against and contradicts Acts 8:12, which is a verse that shows a person needs to believe BEFORE being optionally, freely baptized by immersion down into a physical body of water (whether it be a lake, river, ocean, or other bodies of water.)
💥Goes against 1 John 5:4-13, all of which shows that the Father, the Word/Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost [which is the Trinity - one God, three separate Persons - each separate Person being God] bear record in Heaven of Jesus Christ giving ETERNAL LIFE immediately to any one that believes on him for salvation.

👉Acts 8:12 says, and Acts 8:36-38 clearly shows, when they believed, they were baptized [of their own free will/ their own optional/voluntary choice]. To believe on the risen Lord Jesus Christ, comes before physical water baptism. For anyone to look at and read them, and see the incredible connection between Acts 8:4, 12, Acts 8:36,37,38, and 1 John 5:4-13, those verses are shown below:
