In Colossians 1:14, ASV takes out Jesus' blood & waters down redemption

By removing "through his event", the ASV denies Jesus Christ shed his precious blood to redeem & forgive us of sin! Only by the blood of Jesus Christ, can anyone be redeemed/saved!

but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Discard ASV; get KJB.
