Giannozzo Manetti's 1453 New Testament contains all 1 John 5:7, almost 69 years before Erasmus 1522 Novum Testamentum contained 1 John 5:7. Both this and the 1514 Complutesian Polyglot New Testament proves two things:
1) that Erasmus was not the first man to copy 1 John 5:7 or what critics call as "the Comma Johanneum" in a New Testament edition
2) that Erasmus did not make up, did not falsify, did not twist, and did not newly invent all & any of 1 John 5:7's words but was in a line of people who preserved 1 John 5:7 in their New Testament editions
[7] Qui tres funt [sunt] qui in celo teftificantur [testificantur] pater uerbu [verbu] et fpirit fanctus [spirit sanctus] et hi tres unum funt.
[8] Et tres funt [sunt] qui in terra teftificant Spiritus fanguis [sanguis]...
