Part 2: (black photo is Mark 16:12-18 in Gothic Bible)
"Dr. Franz Haffner had discovered in a wooden chest a manuscript page which, on examination, turned out to belong to the Codex Argenteus. The Codex as known consisted of 187 pages, the last of which ends with chapter 16, verse 12 of the Gospel of St. Mark; 2 the new page carries on from there and gives verses 12-18. ..I shall also add some linguistic comments.4 The original is of course written in scriptio continua, but my transcription gives word divisions according to established practice. ..4 Haffner mentions in his study (p. 3A) that the reverse of the manuscript page gives the end of the Gospel [which is Mark 16:19-20]. Unhappily he has neither published this side nor sent me a photograph of it. (Oswald J. L. SzemerΓ©nyi, βA New Leaf of the Gothic Bible,β Language 48.1 (1972): 1β10.)
Modern versions wrongly doubt Mark 16:9-20
KJB preserves Mark 16:9-20 "New English Bible" is bad as it removes most of 1 John 5:7
