The modern versions are the Devil's wicked abominations & counterfiet versions pushing a false gospel of water baptismal regeneration by omitting verse 37 in order to convince to turst their works and lead people into Hell and the Lake of Fire. Acts 8:37 directly tells the reader to believe on Jesus Christ, and afterward then be immersed in water baptism (WATER BAPTISM IS NOT FOR SALVATION)
