This is very strong proof that Hippolytus had early Greek manuscripts of 1 John 5:7. Also, another reason Hippolytus had Greek manuscripts containing 1 John 5:7, is Hippolytus mentioned we should look at and learn from the Holy Scriptures:
Greek: α½
Migne Graeca PG 10, 816B).
English: "Whatever things, then, the Holy Scriptures declare, at these let us look; and whatsoever things they teach, these let us learn;" (Hippolytus. Against the Heresy of One Noetus. ANF, 2000, vol 5)

Note: ANF stands for "Ante Nicene Fathers". While we at Anti Modern Versions do not agree with some things the early church pastors (who should not be called "church fathers" as per Matthew 23:9 and God alone is our Father which is in Heaven) said, their quotes do provide early evidence for verses that the KJB keeps and that modern versions remove.
