πEnglish: βThree witnesses below, three witnesses above, showing the inaccessibility of Godβs glory."(Translated by KJV Today Link)
πAnother English translation: "So there were three witnesses on earth and three in Heaven who made it clear that Godβs glory cannot be approached."(Homily 1:3 on Page 1) LINK
π―This proves John Chrysostom had early Greek manuscripts of 1 John 5:7-8, since he mentioned "three witnesses above" (Ξα½±ΟΟ ΟΟΞ΅αΏΟ ΞΌα½±ΟΟΟ
ΟΞ΅Ο,) which is only found in & from 1 John 5:7's words of "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, & the Holy Ghost, and these three are one", & mentioned "three witnesses below" (αΌΞ½Ο ΟΟΞ΅αΏΟ ΞΌα½±ΟΟΟ
ΟΞ΅Ο,) which only refers to "And there are three that bear witness in the earth,...and these are one". Note: John Chrysostom lived from 349AD β 407 AD.
