Luther also removed 1 John 5:7 from his 1522 Luther New Testament Bible & it goes straight from verse 6 to verse 8, just like the modern versions do  https://archive.org/details/1522-luther-nt/page/2/mode/2up

In the third picture, Luther's 1522 New Testament goes straight to verse 8 after verse 6, deleting verse 7

Verse 6 is highlighted in yellow; verse 8 comes right after verse 6 in 1 John 5 of Luther 1522 New Testament/NT

What's worse for Martin Luther is he used both Erasmus' 1519 Textus Receptus (2nd edition of the TR that Erasmus collated) and the 1522 TR (3rd edition of Erasmus' TR from Greek manscripts). 3rd edition/1522 TR contained 1 John 5:7/verse from "Codex Britticanico"; yet Luther rejected 1 John 5:7, omitted it from his 1522 NT, & never put it back into his German translation during his lifetime

Only false teachers (Luther) take out God's words
