Note 1: A lectionary is a book of hymns believers would have & use to sing in church during worship in the early church from the 1st century onward. Lectonaries were used in the Middle East, the Roman Empire, Western & Eastern Europe, Greece, and the Byzantine Empire.
Lectionaries also often contain and had copies of Scriptures for believers to have with them personally. Thus, lectionaries are important witnesses to the Bible's text and prove the fact that God preserved His words forever to all generations. Amen.
