In Exodus 34:29-30, 35, 1609 Douay Rheims & Latin Vulgate pushes the lie of Moses was horned, claiming Moses had horns sticking out of his head like animal horns
Douay Rheims contradicts itself by first saying "Moyfes [Moses]...knew not his face was horned" (verse 29)/"feeing [seeing] the face of Moses horned" (verse 30)/"Who saw that the face of Moses coming forth was horned" (verse 35) BUT then goes against itself by saying "so his face appeared to the beholders by reason of the gliftering beames of countenance fhining [shining]" in 1609 DR' note on verse 29
DR's version's words & notes are not consisent, & the notes do not match with the words of Douay Rheims. DR claims Moses was "horned" (i.e. had horns [which mountain goats have] but its notes go against its claims of Moses "horned" (had hornsπ€¦ββοΈ)
Horns or glittering? Makes no sense & has no textual support
