"Hi andrei. Thank you for your kind words on idles. We’re so proud of the album.

Drum sounds are different from song to song. There are room mics recorded which figure pretty prominently in the mixes but also I did trigger some samples of the same room sounds for even greater effect. I did also use a bit of the AMS RMX plugin set to nonlin for the snare as I did on the last album.

Vocal slap is probably echo boy but I don’t recall what setting. Vocal saturation is Saturn by FabFilter. Also don’t remember what type of distortion but I do switch it into a 3-band processor and only process the mids. The most important part of it though is that I use an envelope follower to modulate the amount of gain in a negative way. Meaning as the singer gets louder it distorts less. So it brings quieter sections more in your face but keeps louder parts more natural so that you don’t hear any over distorted parts.
