Apart from Zapad’s ‘objective evidence’ – which consists of old videos – the situation on the Zherebets is stabilising and Ukrainian infiltrators are being eliminated. The river may well become the front line once again for the rest of the year, as Ukrainian forces secure the areas they have captured and Russian forces reinforce their positions. 🇷🇺🇺🇦

⚡️🇷🇴 Romania’s Defense Ministry says suspected drone debris was discovered in a field near Gropeni, Brăila County, after an object crashed overnight and briefly caught fire.

No casualties or damage were reported. Romanian military radars did not detect any suspicious aerial targets overnight.

My goal has always been somewhere around 33/33/33 for Pro-Russia/Neutral/Pro-Ukraine (I hate echo chambers), so I'm glad we're slowly getting there.

The yellow line on this map shows what the current official Russian maps portray the situation in the Lyman direction as (or what they would now consider the Izyum direction).

At it's furthest point, their claimed frontline is 40 km (!) west of my frontline. This was achieved when they released an ai-generated video of a Russian soldier walking around the village of Chervonyi Oskil, and subsequently claimed its capture.

In the Lyman direction alone, the Russian Ministry of Defence falsely claims control over an additional 1,360 km².

He succeeded Izz al-Din al-Haddad who was killed by an Israeli airstrike on May 15 2026, and marks the fourth Hamas Brigade commander to be killed in the last three weeks. In the last three weeks, 3 other commanders of the 5 different Hamas brigades were killed (Khan Younis, Rafah, and Northern brigades).

AMK Mapping Overnight, Russia launched three Oniks supersonic cruise missiles at Kyiv from near Fatezh, Kursk Oblast. All three missiles were shot down by Patriot PAC-3 interceptors as they reached Kyiv, one after another. Three PAC-3s were launched in total.
Alright, I don't know what's wrong with the Ukrainian Air Force lately, but there were no Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched today. 3 Oniks-M supersonic cruise missiles were launched, I am 100% certain of this.

(You build partnerships, friends, and allies through attraction not threats and intimidation)

I believe we are yet to fully grasp how catastrophic the Iran war has been for the US soft power, and their subservience to Israel to their political legitimacy & democracy both at home and abroad.

It's been a while since we've looked at the polling from the Kyiv Institute of Sociology (KISS)

Their most recent polling shows what concerns Ukrainians the most is corruption in government (50%), followed by missile & drone strikes (40%), with the situation at the front (21%).

Also in this same investigation it found 72% of Ukrainians believe corruption has got worse during the war, and 72% say that Zelensky bears responsibility for this.

3rd Army Corps Commander Andriy Biletsky released footage claiming to show 250 Russian soldiers captured by Ukrainian forces during Operation "Vivaldi" in the Lyman direction.

Based on the images provided, I can only visually count 78 PoWs here. Although, I estimate there's probably around 90 in total, including the ones not visible from these angles.

Another petrol station in Kyiv was struck by a Russian Geran-4 jet-drone, this time in the Holosiivs'kyi District of the city. A large fire subsequently broke out.
