Todorov says authorities tried to send him for psychiatric evaluation
After his phone was confiscated, Todorov published further videos describing his treatment by Ukrainian authorities.
He claimed officials attempted to send him for a psychiatric evaluation that could have resulted in hospitalization. According to his account, the attempt failed. He was later returned to his unit and told he would face combat duty.
Todorov has also previously reported threats to his personal safety. His reported detention comes amid broader efforts to organize protests against Zelensky's administration. At the time described, no official statement from the SBU confirming Todorov's detention had been cited.
