Ukrainian soldier detained after protest calls
Ukrainian media reports that the SBU detained Oleksandr Todorov, a serviceman from the 41st Brigade, after he called for protests against the government and military leadership.
Todorov urged citizens to protest on October 3 and reportedly named Germany, the Czech Republic, the US, Belgium and Peru as possible locations for demonstrations abroad.
Throughout September, he repeatedly accused military leaders of corruption and called for answers over defense procurement, supply problems and the treatment of troops.
On his YouTube channel, Todorov urged soldiers and civilians to gather outside the President's Office on September 10.
According to Todorov, his phone was confiscated after he returned from leave, and a video later disappeared. The device was subsequently returned.
No official SBU statement confirming his reported detention was cited in the account.
