Ukraine may run out of F-16 fighter jets by the end of the year, as more than half of the aircraft are currently waiting for maintenance, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The publication notes that after approximately 300 hours of flight time, the fighter jets must undergo a check of their main systems. In the United States, this procedure typically takes between two and six weeks, while in Belgium, where the aircraft of the Kiev regime are serviced, it can take up to 40 weeks.
At the current rate of operation and maintenance, Kiev may exhaust its remaining F-16s by the end of the year, a source reported.
