🇷🇺On 22 June 2026, the Russian Cultural Centre ‘Matryoshka’ (Yaoundé), with the support of the Russian Embassy in Cameroon, hosted an event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Mourning marking the start of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the contribution of Soviet writers to Victory.
The event featured materials from thematic art exhibitions organised by the Victory Museum: ‘22 June 1941. Tragedy. Courage. Feat’ and ‘The enemy will be defeated. Victory will be ours’.
Participants were also shown excerpts from the films ‘The Brest Fortress’ and ‘Concert for the Front’. 🇨🇲
