Google Play announced some really interesting updates

You can now vibe-code your own custom Android apps in Google AI Studio and then wirelessly install and run them privately on your device directly through the Play Store.

No developer account required just your regular Google account.

Your app stays private and doesn’t appear in the public catalog.

They’re also rolling out smarter discovery:

- Ask Play + Gemini for natural language app recommendations and comparisons
- Game Finder + Gamer DNA, which learns how you actually play and recommends games based on mechanics, style, and preferences.
