⚠️ SAT NEWS: NEW SCIENCE SCORE COMING IN SPRING 2027 ⚠️

Starting in Spring 2027, College Board will introduce a new Science Score on the SAT.

🔬 What is it?
A separate Science cross-test score will be calculated from Reading & Writing and Math questions that are already on the SAT. It will measure how well students apply scientific practices and mathematical skills used in science.

⏰ Will the SAT become longer?
No. There will be no additional testing time or science section.

📊 Will it affect your 400–1600 SAT score?
No. Your regular SAT score will still be based on the Reading & Writing + Math section scores. The Science Score will be reported separately as additional information.

🎯 What does this mean for students?
You do not need to study for a new Science section. However, students taking the SAT from Spring 2027 onward will receive an additional science-related score on their score report.

🗓 Starting from Spring 2027 SAT administrations.
