Here's why the online support around the Lindsay Clancy case is so disturbing.
Women don't have friends.
They have temporarily aligned interests
I'm still on good terms with all the guys that were in my wedding over 20 years ago.
My wife hasn't talked to several of her bridesmaids in decades.
Not because she doesn't like them, but because female relationships are based on utility for the women involved and their children.
So why do thousands of women see a temporary alignment of interests with a murderer?
Why do they feel comfortable expressing such solidarity in public?
