Alt View Episode1 Recap: Yaoqi Jia chatted with Barnabe Monnot from the Ethereum Foundation. Find out what he had to say!

We kick off our Youtube show Alternative View or ‘Alt View’ this week! A no fuss, knowledge-focussed content channel for all things crypto, blockchain, L2s, scalability, Web3 and more, we will be hosting numerous industry leaders and researchers who are at the top of their game.

For our pilot episode, we were honoured to have Barnabé Monnot from the Robust Incentives Group (RIG), Ethereum Foundation. His research expertise spans game theory, like large systems, crypto economics, and also decentralised systems. Here’s a quick summary on what he had to say on the subject of rollups, PBS, MEV, and the general state of L2s today.

Altlayer’s public testnet/devnet now LIVE.

Calling all developers! The alpha devnet can now be used to get a glimpse of how our Flash Layering technology works. Here's what you can do via https://devnet.altlayer.io/

⭐️Deploy and call Solidity contracts like you normally would on Ethereum or other EVM-compatible chains
⭐️Use the bridging solution, which allows assets to be transferred to and from other EVM-compatible chains

We’ve also integrated our first add-on: the 1RPC powered by @ Automata Network. This feature protects #Web3 user privacy when accessing RPC (Remote procedure call) endpoints, so that user metadata (IP address, device, wallet info) stays safe.
