Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that the war has proven that American bases in the Persian Gulf are intended to protect Israel.

Khatibzadeh accused Saudi Arabia of imposing a blockade around Yemen, which, according to him, is leading to a severe shortage of medicines, food, and basic goods. He called for the lifting of the blockade, an end to hostilities, and for conditions to be created that would allow the people of Yemen to return to a normal life.
