A Singapore-flagged container ship has sunk near the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reports, citing maritime security sources.

This is the second vessel to sink since the outbreak of the war between the US and Iran in February. The container ship was operated by GFS Ship Management FZE, a UAE-based company.
