⚡🇦🇪🇮🇱 The Attorney General of the United Arab Emirates stated that investigators examining the incident have determined that the second pilot on board the FlyDubai aircraft, Hamam al-Hamami, attempted to carry out a terrorist attack.
This was reported by the UAE state news agency, WAM.
According to Attorney General Hamad Saif al-Shamsi, the second pilot planned his actions during flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Netanya, attacked the captain in the cockpit using an emergency axe, and attempted to seize control of the aircraft.
The Attorney General added that investigators continue to establish all the circumstances, motives, and possible connections related to the incident.
