⚡️🇺🇸🇪🇺 The price of North Sea Brent crude for December delivery fell 0.06% to $102.25 per barrel. Its American counterpart, West Texas Intermediate crude for November delivery, dropped 1.90% to $91.11 per barrel. Prices remained significantly lower for most of the session amid expectations of a strategic reserve release.

G7 leaders agreed on Friday to release up to 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil over four months. "Significant" diesel stocks will be released onto the market within the next 20 days, according to a statement by G7 member states, which did not rule out "discussing the possibility" of releasing "additional" reserves.
